If you have your own product, starting an affiliate program is the number one way to drive traffic to your site because it is a free way where you don't have to do all the work. By starting your own affiliate program, there potentially exist hundreds, maybe even thousands, of affiliates promoting your product. Think about it. What if you had a product that profited you about $10.00 per sale after paying your affiliates and you had 1,000 affiliates making an average of one sale per month. That is $10,000 and you didn't even do the work! What if the product cost $40.00 initially? How many sales would you have to personally make to equal the $10,000.00? The answer is 250! So start your own affiliate program! 2. Article writing is a great way to get backlinks to your site. You simply write about an article related to the product that you are promoting using specific keywords. In your resource box you make sure to include a link that points back to the site that you are promoting. It's a fairly simple process. 3. Video Submission is another tremendous way to send traffic to your site if you have a video that expresses creativity and is interesting. It can be done for free through various free software programs such as Window MovieMaker. It is important to include a link back to your web site in the video's description and to use the appropriate tags. 4. Blogging is another important way to drive traffic to your site simply because the search engines love blogs, as long as it is genuine content. It is important to place in the title of the blog the keywords that you wish to use to promote your blog. For instance, if you are an affiliate for a coffee product, you may wish to title your blog "the whole bean coffee blog". 5.
